This little crab is a delight to find, its small, sometimes a beautiful bright red colour with markings. It can be told apart from the other similar species the broad-clawed porcelain crab, by well the name gives it away the width og the claws but also this species wont appear hairy/frilly like the other species. Both like to live on the bottom of rocks, and I was lucky enough to get some great video footage of this species rockpooling, get up close and personal with this species in this video here!
